What supervisees can expect...
"I enjoy providing a space for supervisees to explore their own triggers and how to manage them in the relationship with clients. Working with supervisees from a strengths-based perspective/approach helps them become a vessel for their clients in the therapeutic process. My practice is focused on trauma, grief/loss, adoption, foster care, child-centered play therapy, attachment, abuse/neglect as well as work with young women. It is also important that supervisees be able to explore different client populations in order to develop their own identity as a therapist."
Kim enjoys working with adoptees and children/ adolescent in foster care as well as young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and/ or childhood trauma. She is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor as well as an Adoption-Competent therapist. She can be contacted directly via email for inquiries about licensure supervision.
