Background:

Chloe (she/her) is currently a Resident in Counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia, under the supervision of Carrie J. Walker, LPC. Chloe is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, and recently moved back to her native Richmond after working at a treatment facility north of Dallas for the past two and a half years. Chloe has provided counseling services since 2018 and specializes in helping those struggling with eating disorders and addiction.

She is also passionate about working with patients in supporting a diverse range of needs, including low self-esteem, sensory processing difficulties, neurodiversity, gender and identity exploration, relationship concerns and various anxiety and mood disorders.

Chloe’s primary goal is to support her clients' advocacy of their own needs. Within sessions, she emphasizes the importance of self-exploration, specifically identifying the natural barriers and strengths that have been developed throughout one’s lifetime. Chloe’s focus is geared towards the relationship created within the counseling room, and utilizes Relational Cultural Therapy to cultivate connectedness and affirmation. Above all, Chloe believes it is important for a client to leave each session feeling better understood and empowered to develop the insight needed to better understand themselves.

In addition to providing counseling, Chloe loves to be around the water, discover new music, and play DnD with her graduate school cohort. She would never pass on the opportunity to chat about her two cats, Donut and Poptart.
