Background:
Erin (she/her), is a licensed professional counselor who works with adults, couples and teenagers. Since graduating with her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from VCU in 2022, Erin has continued to work with the Richmond community.
Erin enjoys bringing knowledge from previous experience in hospital and women’s shelter settings into private practice. This includes using behavioral techniques to help clients identify strategies that work best for them to create change. Along with these modalities, Erin emphasizes a person-centered approach to create a safe and nonjudgmental space. She believes that each individual has their own journey, and that a collaborative approach is essential to building confidence for clients. Erin values her variety of clients, and dedicates time to tailoring therapy for each individual. She is also passionate about working with individuals and couples in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Outside the office, Erin likes to read, be outdoors, try new restaurants, and spend time with her friends, family and cat.
